Verify the electrical definition
Start with the connectivity contract: every used cavity has the expected signal, every wire has a destination, and every termination is supported by a real part choice. Review unresolved objects explicitly; a release should not depend on an assumption hidden in a spreadsheet cell.
- Devices, cavities, pins, wires, and splices are complete.
- Wire gauge, color, insulation, and circuit intent are present.
- Terminals, seals, housings, and covering choices are traceable.
Verify the physical definition
The formboard should preserve authored geometry and make the build sequence legible. Check connector orientation, bundle endpoints, branch junctions, bend paths, lengths, and labels at a fitted view. If a route is unresolved, mark it unresolved rather than publishing an approximate path.
Measured length is part of the manufacturing definition. It should come from the current route geometry and remain connected to the wire and bundle identity that produced it.
Verify the release outputs
Finally, compare the wire details and BOM to the reviewed project revision. The output should include the materials and cut information needed by the build team, with enough context to understand where each line belongs.
- Wire table with cut lengths and identifying attributes.
- BOM with connector, terminal, seal, covering, and hardware quantities.
- Formboard or production layout with readable route and component references.
- Revision and review state that identify the release being built.
